Nagpur Motors Pvt. Ltd. is a professionally managed company, started by a technocrat Mr. Avinash S. Bendre, an Electrical Engineer, with over 47 years of experience in the specific field of electric motors.  He has been involved for number of years in the formulation of National Standards by way of being member of committees of Bureau of Indian Standards (Formerly – Indian Standards Institution – ISI).  He is also closely associated with Bureau of Energy Efficiency formulated by the Government to specially monitor and improve Energy Efficiency of electrical products including motors.

The unit was established in 1981 with the intention of catering to specific and special application oriented requirement of customers.  In the last more than 25 years of its existence, the company has established a high reputation for supplying optimally designed Tailor made motors in wide range of applications, such as Machine Tools, Chemical Industries, Air Handling Systems, Winding Machines, Conveyors and a number of Process Industries.  Flexibility in manufacturing techniques enables the unit to supply even small quantities of special motors at short delivery periods.
